EXCEPTIONS:

Contingent upon acceptance and approval by Designs For Shade, Inc.

  • Parts damaged in transit: Replacement parts shall be re-manufactured (if required) and shipped
  • Incorrect parts shipped: Replacement parts shall be manufactured (if required) and shipped
  • Parts missing: Parts shall be manufactured (if required) and shipped

PROCESS:

Step 1. Customer shall, within seven (7) days of receiving the shipment, submit a request to Designs For Shade, Inc. for any claims based on exceptions, by email at service@designsforshade.com, or by mail using the details provided below:

Please include the following information:

  • Order number
  • Full name
  • Company name (if applicable)
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Description of the parts damaged in transit, incorrect parts shipped, or parts missing
  • Tracking numbers on the packaging (if available)

Step 2: Designs For Shade, Inc. shall review the information provided by customer, and if accepted and approved, determine corrective measure(s). It may be necessary for damaged parts/incorrect parts to be physically inspected and/or returned before acceptance/approval/corrective measure(s) can be determined. Designs For Shade, Inc. shall notify the customer if this is the case to address options in order to complete this step. Additional information may be required.

Step 3: Designs For Shade, Inc. shall notify the customer if the corrective measure(s) have been accepted and approved, and if approved, shall communicate the expected steps involved in order to complete the process, including return of damaged/incorrect parts, along with estimated lead-times for fulfillment.

IMPORTANT:

Please note our products are custom/made to order. Some parts may be shipped and/or replaceable more expeditiously than others. Lead-times for return shipping, evaluation of damaged, incorrect, or missing parts, manufacturing, and re-shipment, can and will vary by product/part-type.
